Bio: Born to the godlike race of Eternals, Thanos was born deformed and hideous, yet only his mother seemed to deem him a monster. Growing up a prodigy with great potential, Thanos eventually fell in love with a physical embodiment of Death and sought ways to garner her eternal love. This method involved him ravaging the galaxy, trying to turn her to his side, and enhancing his ability through bionic and mystical means. In time, he found the best possible option at his disposal--the Infinity Gauntlet, a device that, with six Infinity Stones, could help him annihilate half of all life in the universe.

Special Attacks:

-Power Fist: Thanos throws a powerful haymaker that can launch opponents backward. Heavy variant will lace the punch with the Power Stone's energy, inflicting more damage at the cost of some Super Meter.

-Mind Crush: Command Grab. On successful hit, Thanos will lift the opponent into the air, then focus a telepathic attack on their head that will cause them to crumple.

-Space Warp: Thanos creates a portal of bluish energy and steps into it, transporting himself to a random part of the stage and throwing a powerful haymaker if an opponent happens to be close by.

-Soul Vortex: Thanos creates a spiral of spectral energy around him that can harm point-blank or airborne foes.

-Reality Shield: Thanos puts a hand forward and, with precise enough timing, can reflect projectiles back at opponents.

-Time Mine: Thanos creates a patch of energy on the ground that, should the opponent step on, will freeze them in time until they either button mash free or are attacked. Will vanish in a few seconds if it's not triggered.

Throws

FORWARD: Thanos grabs the opponent in one hand, then rams his head into them to knock them backward.

BACKWARD: Thanos lifts the opponent into the air, then slams them on the ground while uttering "insect".

Super Moves:

-Infinity Crusher: Thanos clenches the Infinity Gauntlet into a fist, all six stones glowing brightly, then fires a vast, multicolored beam of energy that spans the entire stage. This move can be angled, albeit at a rather slow speed. After use, Thanos will take a three-second breather, leaving him open to attack.

-Infinity Gem: Thanos takes the power of a randomly-chosen Infinity Stone and performs a move on the opponent based on what he gets. There is no control over what you get or pattern to which one is chosen, and he can only activate this effect once per match.

*Time/Green: Locks the opponent in place, leaving them unable to move or attack until they either do some serious button-mashing or until the effect wears off.

*Space/Blue: Causes the opponent to teleport to random parts of the stage in somewhat-rapid succession.

*Mind/Yellow: Reverses the opponent's controls, making movement and input commands difficult.

*Soul/Orange: Creates a copy of the opponent to fight for Thanos, but can be damaged and KO'd by the opponent.

*Power/Violet: Engulfs Thanos in energy, amplifying the strength and range of his attacks.

*Reality/Red: Covers the whole stage in a haze that will inflict minor-but-steady damage on the opponent.

-Titan's Rage: Thanos punches the opponent repeatedly, then uppercuts them into the air and clenches his fist, causing all six Infinity Gems to glow. The opponent is then engulfed in an explosion of energy, causing them to fall back to the ground.

FATALITIES:

-Oh, Snap!: Thanos raises the Infinity Gauntlet, then snaps his fingers as all six Infinity Gems emit a bright light in their respective colors. For a brief second, the opponent thinks nothing has happened, then they look at their hand and see that it's disintegrating into a sand-like substance. They can only look at Thanos in complete shock before vanishing on the wind, Thanos' face twisting into a satisfied grin.

-Grip of Infinity: Thanos punches the opponent, hard, in the gut, the Infinity Gems flashing brightly before they emit a burst of energy that blows out the opponent's back, exposing their musculature and spine. As they crumple to their knees, Thanos seizes them by the head with his left, gauntlet-clad hand, then squeezes until their skull implodes in his grip. Only then does he let them fall to the ground.

Intro: A portal of deep-blue energy opens up and Thanos walks through it, his face twisting into a sinister smile.

Outro: Thanos holds up the Infinity Gauntlet, clenching it into a fist as the six Infinity Stones glow brightly.

Prologue: The Mad Titan, Thanos, sat and waited for this very moment. When he saw the portals appearing, he didn't just charge straight in. He sought out the Infinity Stones, which were now unprotected and ripe for the taking. With all six stones in hand, he was initially set to draw Death to himself with one snap of his fingers. But the portals' depths called to him, offering him newfound opportunity. Unable to resist their call, Thanos ventured into the world of Death Battle to see just how much more he could achieve. Upon his arrival, he felt the gauntlet significantly weaken in power. He would have to get to the one behind it all. Only then would he get his wish.

Rival Cutscene:

(Thanos gazes upon a vast ruin of what may have once been a powerful and mighty civilization. His features are expressionless, but there are traces of amusement and disappointment on his face. He raises the Infinity Gauntlet, gazing longingly at the six gems embedded in it.)

Thanos: Soon...(flexes fingers) Soon this will be back to its full power and beyond. With each victory, I can feel the Infinity Stones regaining their power. I remember them not having power outside my universe...but now things are different.

(Suddenly, a portal of unknown energy opens behind Thanos. He turns to face it and, from its depths emerges the towering figure of Darkseid, his hands clasped behind his back and his posture unwavering.)

Darkseid: Your demeanor never ceases to disappoint me, Titan.

Thanos: Just as yours always disgusts me.

(Both pause for a second, then Thanos lets himself smile.)

Thanos: You've weakened since you came to this realm.

Darkseid: (unfazed) As have your little toys.

Thanos: Yet of the two of us, you're the one who has changed the most. You're different. You're...vulnerable. (holds up gauntlet)

Darkseid: I can assure you my power has not diminished by much, Titan. One glance is all I would need, and you would cease to exist.

Thanos: Or I could just close my fist and crush you.

Darkseid: (eyes begin to glow) You will try, Titan. And you will fail.

(From his eyes, twin trails of crimson Omega beams shoot out at Thanos, who clenches his raised hand into a fist. A violet semi-dome rises to meet the Omega Beams and absorbs them. Darkseid ceases firing them and Thanos' field glows crimson before he fires the beams right back at the Lord of Apokolips. He holds out a hand and the energy parts on contact, only for Thanos to rush him and throw a punch at him. Darkseid swerves to avoid it, then raises his opposite hand to catch Thanos' follow-up punch.)

Darkseid: Ever the temperamental one, aren't you, Titan?

Thanos: Only the fierce win wars. I figured you would know that by now.

Darkseid: If it is "fierce" that you want, then I will show you just how "fierce" I can be.

(Darkseid suddenly raises his boot and thumps it into Thanos' midsection, sending him sliding backward. Thanos is back up to full height and balance in no time, though, and he grins with amusement.)

Thanos: Finally. And here I thought you would bore me again.

Darkseid: (actually smiles) Oh, trust me. The battle is only just beginning.

(Both stand ready for the next round, the screen fading to black as Darkseid's eyes and Thanos' Infinity Stones glow brightly.)

Ending: With the Mastermind of Death Battle crushed and the Infinity Gauntlet returned to its former strength and beyond, the Mad Titan sought to test his newfound power, and found just the right means of doing it. By performing "The Snap" in his universe, all he would have done was wipe out half of its creatures and nothing more. With some minor adjustments provided by the multi-dimensional technology and sorcery, Thanos was able to use the restored-and-upgraded Infinity Gauntlet to perform "The Grand Snap". The end-result was countless individuals disappearing across every visible reality. With so much death across every extended universe, Thanos could only grin. Death could not resist him now, and now there was nothing in the multiverse that could frighten him.
