Welcome to the RPM Seven Day Soundtrack, week ending Friday 12th December 2025...and is it looking a lot like Christmas? Let's see...over to...
"Since the last time I last posted, Jayne and I have been to see ‘Honey and The Bear’ and ‘Kyson Point’ join forces to perform as ‘Wintersong’ and sing lots of Christmassy a cappella harmony songs, and last night we were singing with the Harmonise Choir in the pub, so thought I should like to share the Christmas vibe so…this is one that was performed by Wintersong."

Bonus Track Alert! -
"But could I (as James Brown once said) please, please, please have this as an extra special bonus track I know nothing about it! I found it by accident whilst looking up some Albanian Polyphonic Choral music from the 50s & 60s. I found Aleksandre Kiladze’s 1980s Jazz Chorale (don’t go there it’s a rather rarified taste) and that lead me to this! I put the little info (the squiggles) on the Youtube listing into an on line translator and found the name of the track and the band, but putting that information into a search engine I came up with absolutely nothing! (first time for ages that that has happened) I am now intrigued. If anyone knows more or can think of a way to find out more about it please let me know."
"The very aptly named."

"It all started a bit proggy this week..."
"...I was wondering about a band called Silas Ibey who I saw a few times in Norwich in the mid 80s, once supporting Norwich space rockers Underground Zero (who have appeared a couple of times amongst my RPM choices over the years), and it's probably at that gig I bought their 4 track cassette going by the wonderful title of Once Round The Graveyard and Back To Bed, which I played to death. Wishing I still had the tape, a quick look on Youtube and the tracks are now all there..."
