"Best wishes to all, as always."
"No sneaky attempts to get an extra track played this week! Here's my 3 for the week with best wishes to all as ever."
Midnight Rider by The Allman Brothers - "Great track from these guys."
Hate To See You Go by The Rolling Stones - "Here's another one from my revisit to my Stones albums recently. This track from the "Black and Blue" album."
Barangrill by Joni Mitchell - "And a track from one of my favourite Joni albums that I've neglected to pick in the past."
"Hi folks...I'm at a gig & already late sending these so keeping it brief..."
The Meffs (live) Stand Up Speak Out & Breathe (Prodigy) cover - "Lily & Lewis hale from Essex, saw them at Bearded Theory - amazing! They're young, energetic & have already supported Alice Cooper + Frank Turner - random! "
The Cockwombling Song by The Bar-steward Sons of Val Doonican - "Another '1st time seen' at Bearded Theory. Spoofy, funny, clever & very entertaining."

"Take care all. Cheers!"
Hi RPMers, hope your week has been good. Here’s my 3 tunes this week."
Contact by Edwin Star -
Instant Replay by Dan Hartman -
The Message by Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five -
Sail Away Ladies by Odetta -
Jump In the Line by Harry Belafonte -
Sailboat Malarkey by Frederick McQueen -
"This week some mid 60s Old Time, a JS Bach surprise and a live gig catch-up."
Jazzbow Rag by The Dillards - "Pickin' and Fiddlin' by the Dillards is an album I keep coming back to, recorded in 1965, apparently as a protest to an unsupportive record company. Whatever their reasons, it's a classic in my view."
JS Bach Cello Suite No.1 (1 Prelude) performed by Richard Durrant - "Richard has returned to his great musical love for his new recording, released a few weeks ago. All pieces by JS Bach, but played on tenor ukulele or, as is the case here, 4 string tenor banjo. Having seen a Youtube clip years ago of Durrant playing Bach on banjo live in a church, this is an album I've been longing for him to make. It does not disappoint."
Granny by Flook - "Those Flook folks paid a visit to York's National Centre for Early Music a couple of Sundays ago and played this one from the second album...complete with audience taking on the trombone part. It being an early 6.30pm Sunday start, which usually means an early finish, they in fact played for over two and a quarter hours...brilliant!
'Til Next Time...
