"The Pentangle bass player died this week aged 86. Here are a couple of songs he played on."
Light Flight by Pentangle -

El Paso by Marty Robbins -
Poison Ivy by The Lambrettas -
Bonus Track: Peggy Sue by The Crickets with Brian May + Albert Lee - "Hopefully you will allow me a bonus track this week Tim?
I compiled my 3 before the very sad news of the passing of Sonny Curtis this week. A founding member of The Crickets. I was lucky enough to see him as part of "The Strat Pack" in 2004, just 5 rows back from the stage in block A3 so a blurred me and the missus might be in the clip!" ("Certainly, Tony...a classic...and indeed sad news.")
"By coincidence, in an attempt to avoid duplication last week Jayne and I both chose to post a track by ‘The Fleet Foxes’! This is the tune that we both thought the other would post as last Thursday we heard it played on Billy Bennington’s own Dulcimer. Richard Blake who has been given the instrument by Billy’s step granddaughter played a set on it at the Crown in Fakenham. It was the first time that ‘The Barford Angel’s’ Dulcimer has been played in public since the death of Billy in 1985. He was the last person to tune it and remarkably it is still nearly perfectly tuned to relative 346htz pitch Just as he left it.
It was a grand performance too."
March: On Parade performed by Billy Bennington -
Hold the Lantern High by Jimmy Aldridge & Sid Goldsmith -
Three Dads Walking by The Young 'uns - "Suicide is still the biggest killer of those under 35 in the UK."
"Hi folks. Here's my 3."
Strange Love by High Waters - "Found this by accident when searching for Stupid Love by Hether last week. Listened to it, liked it, now sharing it."
Loser by Tame Impala - "Lot of folk frothing on the YouTube comments for this 1..."
The Melting of the Sun by St Vincent - "Wowzers she's talented! Sultry awesomeness + there's a Nina in the lyrics 😁."
