"We have a bunch of hornets that have made their home between the rafters under the roof of our bay window. They are jolly interesting insects. When they peer through the kitchen window at night, (attracted by the light, or the moths?) you can see their Iron Man masks quite clearly. They are equally as entertaining as the chili plants on the windowsill below them and must have been listening in through the ceiling of our dining room…
So - this week it’s music to watch hornets by.
I am sure that they appreciate Steely Dan and 'Can't Buy A Thrill' has to be one of the most fabulous debut alums ever. It made a huge impact on me and in my studio, for weeks I played it on repeat as I scratched away with my leaky Graphos Pen… (Mark 1 Rotring rapidograph!!)"
