Welcome to the RPM Seven Day Soundtrack, week ending Friday 17th January 2025. Hmmm, quality over quantity this week...? Over to...
"Just two selections from me this week. I've been listening to the new Fantastic Negrito album- excellent in my opinion. The best song on it I think is "I Hope Somebody's Loving You," but my selection comes a close second. I've chosen it because of lines that immediately put me in mind of Stevie Wonder- but Stevie in 1973 would not have come up with "Wildfires keep on burnin"."
Devil In My Pocket by Fantastic Negrito - "...from 'Son Of A Broken Man'."
Higher Ground by Stevie Wonder - "...from "Innervisions."
