Backstory (pic)
in 2020, genetic engineering to kill mosquitos goes wrong. Stunts newborn male growth at 60% of normal size. All males born before this date are 'normal', while all after this date have stunted growth.
avg male 3'6", 50lbs, and can lift 20 lbs
avg female is 5'6", 110lbs, and can lift 50 lbs
Whether boys and girls should be schooled together is a subject of great controversy.
Attempts to repair the gene mutation exist, but are also controversial. (because they could make things worse)
The first generation of stunted males turn 18 in 2038.
In 2038, cars are electric and drive themselves, seat six, with no steering wheels and seats that face each other. They have electronically tintable windows.

Story
We enter Steve's life during his senior year in HS... just before his parents let him go on his first 'date' with a girl (Kelly).
We see some morning family interaction before school. we hear about how his younger sister is 'dating' a 17yo boy, and how she supports Steve's independence to go on a date to their parents. They discuss their reluctance, admitting maybe it's time. Steve's part in the discussion is to admit that to go on a date he has to be asked first.
June and Steve share a small car (which drives itself). On the way to school they talk...
The car is a four seater, with the seats facing each other, like the back of a limo without the front. They direct it to take them to school.
Steve needs the car after school to meet up with his guy friends. June offers to drop him, as she has plans too.
June is curious if he's ever been asked out on a date. If he wants a date, she ask around and see if any girls are open to it. Cute girls of course. She remembers that her close friend (Grace) is always nice to him, and asks "what about her?". Steve remembers how 'plain' she is, points out that the girl is only 17 (so what? replies her sister), and that it might be weird to date her sister's close friend. (which her sister admits is true)
We see Steve meet his two close guy friends in the hallway before class.
Chatting about what they did that weekend. Mostly playing some smartphone game about attacking castles.

As he is talking, his 'girlfriend' strolls up behind him. We see Steve in a gender integrated classroom (chemistry)...
they have a lab experiment, and the teacher assigns a male partner to each of the four girls in the class by referring to her rotation list (who'se turn is it?), before asking the rest of the boys to partner themselves up.
Steve is the last guy called, and is assigned to Siobhan, arguably the hottest girl in the school, yet also feared for being domineering. He makes his way over to her lab station and introduces himself, intimidated.

When he notices a mistake she makes, he tries to explain and correct it, but she insists she's right, and patronizes him for thinking he can help, explaining that this little arrangement is to teach him about interaction with women, and to learn to do as he's told.
The teacher checks in on them, noticing the mistake, asking who did that part of the work. Steve volunteers that he did it, leaving out that Siobhan insisted he do it that way, feigning ignorance about it being a mistake, covering for her. The teacher asks them to do it again correctly, reminding Siobhan to keep a closer eye on him this time.
At the end, Siobhan gives him a gentle squeeze, and thanks him for covering for her with the teacher.

In the hall at the end of the day, he's getting his stuff from his locker, talking to his two guy friends, when Siobhan strolls up to him.
He introduces them all, and the guys are floored that she's talking to Steve.
Siobhan compliments him on being 'one of the better lab partners she's had', and asks if he would like to come over to her place and get help with his chemistry homework.
Steve is surprised, as they don't have any chemistry homework. He turns it into a question. She explains that it's a special assignment, for boys like Steve who know how to properly follow directions. (Though maybe he's not as smart as she thought, as she usually doesn't have to ask boys twice.)

Several days later, when Steve is waiting at the car for June, she shows up with a girl (Kelly), who is very tall and very stacked.

Kelly walks him to the car, opens the door for him, and they sit facing each other. She directs the car's destination. On the way, they try to make smalltalk.... she asks what kind of music he likes, and puts it on. He admires and compliments her outfit, which is simple but cute.
When they arrive at her friend's house, the mom answers the door, greets Kelly, and comments on how cute her little boy is. She agrees, they try it again, and he vaults to an impressive height and does a clean full twist before landing in the girls arms. Scarlett thinks it's outstanding and tells them all they are done for the day.
While everyone grabs their water bottles, Scarlett approaches Aiden, saying his name once while standing, then dropping to one knee eye-to-eye and repeating his name, then complimenting him for exceeding her expectations. She could tell how easy that was for him, and it was her girls who were struggling. Once they come up to speed, you and I can dream up some much more challenging stunts for you to do. (Great, that sounds awesome.)
She adds that 'if you need anything, inside or outside the gym, don't hesitate to ask. That any of the girls would be glad to give him rides, take him shopping, help him with homework, etc. And he's always welcome to bring his friends over and sit with them in the lunchroom. Next is a basketball 'game day'. The whole squad wears their uniforms all day. Steve and Mason razz him about it. Two nearby cheer girls overhear, and come to his 'rescue', "are these two guys giving you trouble?", gently pushing the boys against the lockers and mocking to "teach them a lesson" if Aiden wants them to. Aiden is escorted off by the girls.
Mason, despite the razzing, insists they both go to the game to see Aiden. Steve cringes at seeing Kelly on the court, as she was his first love and it still stings a little.
During the game, Aiden is just doing semi-silly jumping and sliding around the girls as they cheer. Occasionally being picked up on two of their shoulders and throwing his hands around.
Then comes the halftime show. Aiden looks like a miniature version of them as he mimics their choreography from out in front of them. Then comes his first lift. Two of the girls lift him up on one leg, and let him fall back down. Then they throw him into a flip and catch him. Finally they get ready again, and during a crescendo of the music, they toss him to what seems like a dangerous height, as he does a full twist, lands, then is suddenly doing a sequence of backflips across the floor, followed by a vaulted backflip with a twist into a landing pose. The crowd roars. Mason and Steve's jaws fall open. "Holy crap. Did you know he could do that? I didn't know he could do that?"

Down on the floor, the girls are all touching and congratulating Aiden. "Did you hear the crowd? They've never roared like that for us before." Scarlett puts her arm around his shoulder, hugs him in, and tells him "I knew you'd be perfect."
After the game, the cheer squad is all headed to the locker room, and just as Aiden splits off to the boys, Scarlett stops him to let him know they always go out together after the games. Shower up, put on your spare uniform, and meet out in the lobby.

Aiden is jammed into a single car with all six uniformed cheerleaders, chart-topping music blaring... sitting on Nora's lap, with Maria and Scarlett beside him, and the younger girls opposite them. The girls gush about how 'awesome' that was. That Aiden was so good. Scarlett takes some credit, 'i told you girls we needed Aiden. with him, we might make nationals this year'. Scarlett grabs his cheek, "you are our secret weapon. You did so well I could kiss you." Then, surprisingly, she leans in and kisses him square on the lips. No tongue, but much longer than a quick peck.
The other girls in the car are noisy with laughter. One girl shouts, "hey, no fair! she said none of us were allowed to date him!" Scarlett taunts back, (I certainly did, but I didn't say anything about kissing.) The other girls giggle again in response.
Just a few minutes more, and the car comes to a stop, announcing they have reached their destination.
The local "hang out" diner, with the basketball players already present. The players and cheerleaders high-five each other as they enter, excited because they won their game. Though most of the players rustle Aiden's hair instead. He gets curious looks from quite a few of them as he is escorted by his cheer squad over to a pair of booths in the back. Scarlett waits for him to enter first, pinning him in against the wall next to her.
The waitress is quick to come for their order. The girls mostly order salads and diet sodas. Aiden orders a small chocolate shake. The girls look at him funny, and he jokes, "what, do you think I maintain all this muscle with just salads?" which causes all the girls to laugh.
Scarlett is right back to business, asking what the girls think about adding some girl lifts for the next game. The girls are hesitant. They can't do what Aiden can do. Scarlett explains they don't have to, they just need to do simple lifts along side their star performer.
Two of the basketball players come over to their table. One of them is Kelly, and Aiden and Kelly say hello to each other. Kelly compliments him on the really impressive flips. Aiden mentions a few three pointers he saw her land. "Well, that's all. good game girls," and with that the two basketball girls wander back to their crew just as the food arrives.
Nora starts in with a drawling curiosity, "so, how is it you know Kelly?"
"I don't know her that well. She used to be my friend Steve's girlfriend."
"Steve XYZ? Wasn't he the one giving you shit for wearing a cheer uniform?"
"You tell him he better watch out, or he's going to find out what it's like to have a cheerleader's uniform up his ass." All the girls giggle with laughter.

At the end of the night, the jam packed car pulls back up to the school, and most of the girls crawl out, wishing each other good-night and good-game. At the end, Scarlett, Nora, and Aiden are left as the door closes, and Aiden decompressed into his own seat next to Scarlett.
At first, Aiden didn't think much of it, as the girls always gave him a ride home. However, Scarlett didn't give the car a destination, Scarlet had one knee up on the seat to face him, and the two girls looked at each other like they knew something Aiden didn't.
"Aiden, I have something serious I have to talk to you about." That sounded sinister. "Two of of my girls have already approached me, asking if they could date you. Of course I told them both no. I can't have my girls getting jealous of each other and infighting. I hope you understand." Aiden nodded, he could sort of understand, though he was suddenly quite curious who the two girls were.
"The thing is, I feel bad about it. With you keeping up both gymnastics and cheer, you can't possibly have much time for dating. We're the girls you spend the most time around, so it sort of makes sense feelings might develop. I don't want to get in the way of a little innocent fun. So we discussed it, and came up with a compromise. Want to hear what it is?" (he looks at both girls, nodding)
"We've decided the only solution is for all of us to share you." Aiden's eyes got wide with surprise. What did that even mean? Share him? Before he could process it, she continued, "Not all at once of course, but you'd be agreeing to spend time with the whole cheer squad, no exceptions, to make sure nobody feels excluded. Now, before you think I'm crazy, I'm not proposing you have six girlfriends. No. This would be much more casual. In public, you'll just be our cherished member of the squad. However, in private, we can all explore the attraction we're feeling. What do you think?
"Uhm, I'm flattered and confused. While that sounds like every boy's wet dream, dating the entire cheer squad also sounds like trouble."
"No, not exactly. Not dates. Just, have a little fun. Do you think Nora here is pretty?" He looked over at her, but didn't say anything. She obviously was. He finally nodded. "Would you like to make out with Nora and I, right now?"
"Are you kidding?" Nora gently shook her head in response. Everyone paused, the tension in the air palpable. Scarlett reached over to a button on the car console, dimming the windows to black. Then she reached her hand over to Aiden, urging him closer to her on the seat. Nora got up off her seat, and moved closer, seductively kneeling on the floor in front of him.
"We would both really like to have some fun with you, but you have to agree to our two conditions. First, the whole squad, no exceptions. Second, you can't tell anyone. Not a soul. Not even your best buddies. Agreed?"
Aiden couldn't believe what he was hearing. He'd never had a girlfriend, never even made it to second base, and being this close to Scarlett made his skin tingle. She wasn't just pretty, she was always so confident, in charge. He was clearly attracted to her. He wasn't attracted to every girl on the squad in the same way, but he could admit they were all very pretty. They were, after all, cheerleaders.
He looked at Nora. She slowly drew her hand up her thigh. She was clearly one of the sexy ones, and she was obviously showing off, lifting her cheerleader skirt just enough to seem like she was offering something. Aiden looked back to Scarlett, whose hand found it's way flat onto his chest. "Yes. I'll do it." "Good choice," Scarlett's serious look shifted to a sinister smirk, as her hand drifted up his chest and wrapped around his neck and head. She slowly pulled him in as she leaned down, planting her lips on him as she'd already done earlier. The kiss felt familiar, but only for a moment. Then he felt wetness. She sucked on his lower lip before dipping her tongue gently into his mouth. He tried to match her, pressing his tongue into her mouth, orally dancing with her, only as soon as she'd started, she began to pull away. As quickly as the kiss began, it ended. Only then did he realize why.
Nora's hand was on Scarlett's shoulder, urging her away, urging her to yield. Nora set her other hand next to his head, propping herself up as she leaned forward. Her lips felt different, smaller, less sensuous. The action of her tongue more than made up for it, as she was doing what he could only describe as wrapping and twisting it around his own. Instead of responding, his mouth became passive, letting her continue as long as she would. His hand slowly found it's way up her leg, the excitement increasing as it slipped up under her skirt. When he reached the hem of her bikini bottoms, he felt her kiss falter for a moment in surprise. Then, unexpectedly, their kiss ended as she was pried away by Scarlett.
"My turn," Scarlett softly cooed, as Nora knelt back away from him. This time Scarlett reached under his arms, urging him off the seat and towards her. He followed her lead, and found himself turned around, across her lap, and eye-to-eye with her. She smiled at him briefly, before leaning in to pick up on their kiss where they had left off. Compared to Nora, her tongue was wider and wetter, and didn't dive near as deeply into his mouth, which provided more opportunity for the dance of a typical french kiss. As the sensitive organs moved against each other, he reached out around her neck, holding her head, and her arms fell around his torso, holding his whole body close.
