a world with a magical system where women are the magic users (mage/witches) and men are the conduits who supply the magic energy. the female ability to cast comes with practice (meaning it's mostly available to elites), while the male conduit ability is innate and reveals itself during puberty (from a strong emotional event)...

through concentration and emotional bond, she absorbs energy, and can hold it for hours (or 1-2 days if it's enough). he can empower any number of women, and the one he's most committed to is the strongest
she gains speed, strength, embuing held objects with magic energy and light (swords, staves)
when he willingly gives his maximum energy, she becomes more like his physical ideal
other girls can 'feel' he's a very strong conduit, and he becomes a 'hot item', and all the girls want to partner with him.....
