Summary
(inspired by artwork thread)
in a "realistic world with magic" - a "fantasy" reality-tv show has a license to temporarily shrink people, and finds couples where one spouse can leverage the other into agreeing to be shrunk, then follows them and documents the (hopefully entertaining) experience. Harris gets dragged into watching the show by his wife, because she thinks one episode is so damn funny... and he's unexpectedly fascinated, especially when he finds out they are doing a "reverse" segment on spouses who want to be shrunk...

1. Intro
Susan drags Harris into watching an episode of "shrink my spouse" because she thinks it's a funny new show...she explains the premise and why she thinks it's funny.
open with the reality-tv episode entrance interview as they strike the "grand bargain" where they reveal he's not there for an automotive design job, but he's actually on "shrink my spouse".
he's going to get a job, paying more than he hoped for, but only if he agrees to shrink to 14" for four months. (does he knows it's coming and do it anyway? why does she want him small?)
then we see him coming out of the shrink proces, She's deviously satisfied, and he's appalled. she teases him and handles him into situations that "make for good television", eventually against his will.
meanwhile they keep playing up how much he can't stop staring at her body, which his g/f comments doesn't seem like the smartest move for someone his size
at the end of the episode, they talk about the next week (a baby doll shrunken wife), and call for applicants for a new segment they are doing on guys who want to shrink.
2. Acceptance
Harris submits an application, with some info about them both, and their photos
next step is to setup a candid videochat of him bringing it up with his wife.... she's not very into it at all, and their banter as he tries to convince her turns out pretty funny.
they approve him for the next step, and they setup a 'date' for them with candid cameras, where he's supposed to convince her to agree.
she's really not into it, and making fun of him the entire time... until she realizes this is actually for a chance to be on the TV show... because she gets free 'glamor' spell for every scene they air (which he didn't even realize) - she immediately kicks into high gear, encouraging him to get shrunk right there...
the crew descends with contracts for them to sign... he's surprised that his is just a tiny contract giving her temporary complete power of attorney for him -- "what did you expect" she teases, you will be too small to sign contracts, too small to carry your wallet, when you get shrunk, i have to take care of *everything*..
idea: her contract includes complicated terms, and 'bonus payouts' for specific things, including giving them rights to different levels of nudity, in exchange for progressively bigger amounts of money and glamor credits.. and that in some cases when she picks a glamor, the producers may award her bonus credits
they ask for house keys (to prep their house with cameras), and for him to empty his pockets (no reason to shrink his wallet)
they set her up with a special app on her phone.. they explain how it will screen all her photos and social media, so she doesn't accidentially reveal details before the show airs... then they show her the "glamor" sections, and explain how when the producers issue her credits, they will show up there, and she can spend them on glamors to permanently change her appearance...
then right there at dinner, they shrink him, until he's 14" tall and sitting on the table... she immediately starts teasing him with his silverwear, and experiments with touching and lifting him.
she promptly puts him back down when the waiter comes to take their order.
she orders for the both of them. an expensive entree (lobster?) with their most expensive glass of wine... he protests that they can't afford that, but she explains that now they only have to pay for one dinner...
the waiter shows up with her wine. she sips the taste splash, and gushes about how amazing it is as he pours her glass.
she asks if they have any very small glasses, or maybe a thimble, anything to share the wine..... "no, madame, i'm sorry, we are a restaurant, not a tailor. we don't have anything like that"
she is determined to share some with him, "you have to taste this", so she carefully tips her wine glass over... he puts his mouth on the edge, as she tips it further, as carefully as she can, but she ends up splashing his entire face with wine, that runs down his shirt... she giggles an apology. dabs a napkin in some water, and tries to wipe up the spill...she's manhandling him so much that he tries to force her away in protest, "honey, enough. im fine, im fine", and and lets go ("okay, you don't have to get fussy"), sending him crashing to the tabletop
then the giant red lobster shell arrives, and it's bigger than he is..she insists he stand up close to it so she can get a photo. then she asks him to climb on it, like he's riding it... he declines, "come on, you're the one who wanted to be small. why not have a little fun with it?" He holds firm, a little grumpy, so she pulls out the sweetness, "ohh honey, don't be like that. if you do this for me, later, when you have me alone, i'll play along and do whatever you want. deal?" ... he begrudgingly relents, taking off his shoes, and carefully climbing onto the plate of slippery food. she gives him a finger to hold onto as he straddles the slippery red shell... and then poses as she snaps a few pictures. "wow hun, this is so good. our friends are going to freak when they see this." she tries to post it, and gets a big "producer censored" error, "ohh crap, i forgot, i can't post this until after it airs. ohh well, they'll still freak when they see it.."
just then, a notification dinged with some glamor credits. she tapped on it, and it took her to the glamor page, where it showed her she has 100 credits. She gets kind of giddy that she already earned credits..and chooses a "thinner" glamor.... she gently grabs the table for balance, commenting that she can feel it happening already.. she can't see the results so she asks him about them... from where he's sitting she looks dramatically thinner, several dress sizes... but he downplays it "you definitely got a little thinner."
"wow, that is so awesome. i'll have to check it out later, because right now i'm starving," she reaches for the lobster claw, and tears it off, jostling the body and forcing Harris to grab at the slippery body as he slides off onto the plate. "ohh, sorry hun." she offers, as she digs a big clump of lobster out of the claw and shoves it into her mouth. As she chews, she can't help letting out a garbled exclamation, "this is amazing," her mouth still full of food. "You should really try some," she breaks off a little piece, and sets it on the plate, where he's up on his knees, his clothes drenched in oily butter.
He reaches for the piece, which is the size of a turkey leg to him, and tries to take a bite, but finds it so firm he can barely bite through it. As he chews, he finds it tough and rubbery, and it tires his jaw as he slowly works his way through it. When he finally swallows it, he looks up and finds Susan has just finished another bite, and is looking down at him expectantly, "yeah, it's really good honey," he lies.
"Isn't it? Mmm. So good. You know honey, your clothes are covered in butter." She grabs the other claw, and forks out another huge bite, stuffing her mouth full again.
"Yeah, I wonder how that happened," he said, sassing her. She cracked a smile through her chewing, but this time her mouth was too stuffed to even try to talk, so she chewed another few seconds, and swallowed. "
??. what events do we cover during their taping?
how they sleep... with her at first laughing at the idea of there being any intimacy
her running a bath for him, "in the sink", while she showers
she 'takes him to work' ...
the producers meet with her office first for a "setup meeting"...

5. Conclusion.. or is it?
When it reaches the end, and he returns to normal size, he's impressed all over again about his wife's new glamored appearance... (taller, sexier)
they have a reunion, hug, kiss, and he compliments how incredibly sexy he is..
...how he really made out in this deal... how a month of being small was totally worth it.
.. they ask if "That's it", and they explain that "it doesn't have to be"...
The early shows have aired, and their ratings are so high, the producers offer them their own show
this is a 'once in a lifetime' situation, where they can be famous (like the kardashian's), and become truly wealthy
they explain if their show lasts through the first 12 episodes, their package pays out $6M, and if it lasts two more seasons, they'll net out $35M.
catch is, he has to stay small... which she is definitely not into ( because she hasn't had sex for a month )
he wants to know if they can think about it.. the producers can give them some time along to talk, but they have to stay in their home and decide in the next few hours, because any photos or proof of him back to his normal size would cause a 'continuity gap that could negatively impact ratings'
when they are alone, she expresses her excitement about what they've already accomplished.. how sexy she feels after the glamous, and she starts rubbing her body into him and fondling him, which he is kind of surprised at... "is that so wrong? we haven't had sex in over a month!" -- he laughs and concedes she's right, as she leads them to the bedroom, strips down, and teases him about how hot he is for her new body....
they get hot and heavy, and he tries to jump right to sex...
but her new dominant side comes out, and she tells him she needs foreplay, coaxing him to get her wet and ready... she talks dirty about how playing with him while he was small would get her turned on, but then she was just left out in the cold, because he couldn't do anything about it... so he better make it up to her now...
"ohh shit that's good. i want you inside me so bad. come on, do it now." he climbs ontop of her, and as he pumps her she tells him how good it feels, and just as she's starting to enjoy it, he starts to come, and she lets him, and then she keeps coaxing him to ride her, "ohh, i just need a little more baby. don't stop." finally she climaxes..and they fall apart, panting
"ohh shit that was good. I know you had a little fun while you were small, but I was high and dry the whole month. There is no way I could do that for a year!"

...??? somehow they talk about how they are going to have intimacy while he's small...
they decide to do it...
when the contracts come out, he objects to signing just a blanket power of attorney.. she tries to convince him it'll be fine, but when he flat out refuses, the producer lawyers shrug, take away the simple contracts, and hand them a joint contract that is much more complicated, where she gets a restricted power of attorney over compensation negotiations for the show, medical treatment, standard activities of daily living, and short term activities related to participation in the show, but specifically forbidding any alternations to their marriage state, or entering him into any contracts that would create long term encumberments. it also requires her not to unreasonably withold her authorization of any contracts and activities he would like her to sign on his behalf.
there is also language in there about how the producers have executive oversight of her glamors, in the interest of driving improved ratings
after some discussion (of scenerios?) this is good enough for them, and they both sign
they prepare to shrink him, and he asks them to 'hold on a moment. can't he have a little more time?" they insist he can't, and in just a few minute he's back to his shrunken self.

Other Ideas....
fast forward, and she's getting heavily recruited for a new job, and has to rush out to an interview. he feigns ignorance... but as soon as she leaves, he grabs a bag and rushes out the door. / on location, she gets to the interview, and while things are progressing, something is "off"... their questions are just too soft.. she starts to probe. they admit she's astute to notice there is something different about this job... they start the 'grand bargain', and tell her she'll be paid 3x as much as she asked for, because she has to travel for this job. of course they are going to pay for her accommodations, because if she takes it, she's going to be working from the set of "shrink my spouse"! There is a big reveal with an audience and her husband.. she's surprised... and questions 'they want her to shrink?" / but they clarify no, that it's her husband actually wants to shrink. her husband addresses her directly, explaining that since he lost his job, he's been under too much stress. That being on 'shrink my spouse' would solve their money problems. but the host challenges him to 'tell her that's not all, tell her the truth' / he confesses ever since he saw the show, he's really to be small. she's surprised, so he tries to explain it, including some embarrassing admissions about how he can't stop thinking about certain elements of it. (?? how does this go down ??) she asks if she has to do what the women do on the show... caring for, carrying around, etc. / he doesn't answer, but instead asks "is it so much to ask? in just a few months we'll make enough to pay off our bills and have that down payment on a house we keep talking about." he has to plead a little, but she reluctantly agrees. / next they are getting ready for the procedure, and she asks if he's really sure about this... he is. he goes into the chamber, and a few minutes later, he comes out just over a foot tall. she's astonished, and marvels at him.. talking about it's so different to see in person than on TV. she gently pokes him, knocking him over, and then laughs as he scolds her and asks her to take it easy. /he, on the other hand, is even more astonished. she's a tower of femanine energy, more beautiful and alluring than she's ever been to him. / the first day is the awkwardness of her caring for his tiny self, because she didn't plan any of this. / then there is the matter of his constant staring, which she finally comments about .
