Quinton is upset, that change was 'not small'. River is just smiling, giddy about the results. Comparing her 6" height advantage, 10" in heels.

Rough Outline
Intro
Quinton in normalcy. Out at lunch with his friends Brennan and Kevin, talking about how "behind" they are on research, and how much of a grind their professors expect.
Linda (cute but overweight) walks by and notices them, interrupting to smile/flirt (touching his arm) with Quinton and confirm they are "still on for this afternoon". Quinton confirms he's still going to tutor her, yes. She flirts a little more as she leaves.
Quinton's friends tease him about how she's obviously into him, and he should hook up with the undergrad. "don't encourage her, she's practically stalking me. i'm not interested." "So what if she's a little overweight? It's not like you have cuter girls waiting in the wings." Quinton excuses himself, he has a lecture to go to.
Intro Professor Luiz Monta and Flexherence.
Into Universe 2
Quinton fixes the device, uses it. The doorbell rings, it's linda. He wishes (" Why couldn't [Linda] be thin and cute?") and lands in universe 2.
He's shocked when he answers the door, with Linda thin and super cute. (pic) It's so shocking he keeps staring, which she comments about because it's making her feel awkward. Trouble is, she's not really 'into' him anymore.
Quinton excuses himself for a minute, returns to his bedroom, and with some trepeditation, reactivates the device and navigates to a universe where "Linda is both cute and into him."
Universe 3
When he returns, Linda starts seriously flirting with him. Quinton and her make out. He finds out she lied about needing math help, and she's incredibly smart. He can't believe how hot and into him she is. As they start petting, he starts rubbing her petite tits, which she loves and encourages as she climbs on top of him. Though Quinton has always been into girls who were more substantial up top, and he realizes his amplifier could change that in an instant. He tries to ignore it and just enjoy her, but like a thorn in his side he can't stop thinking about the device in the other room. He awkwardly interrupts their making out, coaxing her off him, and making a super-lame excuse for why he has to go into his bedroom. she's just encourages him to hurry back.

Back in the room, Linda is sitting with her back to him, typing away on her phone. As she notices him, she puts down her phone, and turns. Quinton is stunned at her new appearance, tits straining at her tight top. She teases him, "Are you finished? I've waited long enough for you, I don't want to wait anymore." She pulls him onto the couch, and they resume making out. Quinton can't keeps his hands or eyes off her, and she's quickly topless, very turned on, and telling Quinton she wants him.
Suddenly... someone is at the door... an ultra hot brunette walks in. She rages, and threatens to 'teach him a lesson', then storms out. Linda asks if he needs to go after her, which he declines. They resume having sex. Afterwords, she gushes about how special that was. She also admits she was surprised he didn't stop when River showed up, but she knows he's not going to leave River for her.
Realization
In his bedroom, he sees pictures of him and River, puts it together, and realizes she is his girlfriend.
Reflection
Quinton meets Kevin and Brennan , who are out with their girls. They ask where River is, he confesses they had a fight. Immediately, the girls start comforting and doting on Quinton. At first it seems just polite, but then it starts to turn a little competitive. The girls start making vague offers (if you just need a shoulder to cry on, someone to be with, or even a negotiator) Their boyfriends are increasingly uncomfortable, trying to change the subject.
Finally Brennan drags Quinton away under a pretense of getting more drinks. Then he digs into him for telling the girls he and River were fighting. 'are you trying to make trouble for us? you know our girls will take you home in a heartbeat. What would River think then?' Quinton apologizes. He didn't realize. Brennan reminds him that River is really a catch, and that he should go patch it up with her.
Quinton leaves the bar, heading back home.
Chaos Theory
Back at home, Quinton feels he screwed up bigtime. He uses the device to "get River to understand, get her to stay with him."
River comes over, they clear things up, get intimate. Quinton learns that there are alot more changes than he bargained for.
River says the discovery disclosure can wait until tommorow, but asks who he'd like to be his negotiator. He's confused, and asks how this works. She explains that any disclosure requires an independent third party negotiator.
Evening with River
After dinner, they take a walk on the campus. Quinton comments about how fit everyone is. That in his world society has a real obesity problem. She explains "zonophaze" a non-steroid metabolism enhancer, that was approved for widespread use decades ago, and is now laced into the water.
They walk by a place River says they had their first kiss. They share a moment, and kiss themselves.
River takes a ride (to 6'4")
the next morning, after adjusting the device slightly, River uses it to alter herself.

The morning after, Quinton wakes up to find River is already out of bed. After tossing on some clothes, he wanders out of the bedroom to find River in his office typing away at his computer.
She complements him on having done some "remarkable" work, and explains that once she understood the mechanics she was able to better smooth the coupling coefficients - so you shouldn't black out when using it. "Now, I'd like to take the Meta-Verse for a little spin," then she activates the device and it begins to hum.
"Wait!" Quinton shouts, holding out his hands. "If you use the device, you'll navigate away, and this version of you and I will never see each other again."
"Quinton," she paused, her lips curling into a smile, "I would never leave you behind. We merely need to be in quantum coherence. Here, take my hand." She reached a hand out, offering it.
Quinton didn't know much, but he knew he wanted to stay with River. This River. Before he considered the implications, he reached out and took hold of her hand. As soon as he did, she reached her other hand over to the device. When she had hold of it, he was surrounded by silence and suddenly felt separate from the world. Everything around them began to blur, like it was vibrating rapidly. The only thing that seemed solid and real was River. When she spoke, her voice didn't seem like a sound, traveling through the air to his ears, but instead emanated from within him.
"See, no blackout. Now, are you ready?" He nodded, and then looked around for signs of change. However, aside from the blurry feeling of dissociation, the office around him stayed exactly the same. It didn't surprise him, as the first time he used the device it didn't have any affect on his immediate surroundings. Just as he wondered what navigation River was making, some movement caught his eye. Looking back at River, he had an eerie feeling. While she stared off in space, concentrating, she looked somehow unfamiliar. Watching a moment longer, Quinton realized not only had her appearance changed, she was still changing!
From instant to instant, Quinton noticed small shifts all over River's body. Her shoulders rose and broadened, the shape of her arms became more defined, and even subtle lines in her neck and jaw became more prominent. Even though each individual change was small, in less than a minute the combined result was dramatic. A moment ago she was the cute sexy firecracker he'd quickly fallen for. When it ended, she was not only sultry, but physically larger and stronger - enough that she looked a bit imposing, like she was a bit too large for his desk chair. As she took her hand off the device, the world around them gently solidified back into a crisp picture, and she looked down, inspecting her own body.

"I suddenly feel so....powerful." When her hands reached her knees, her legs were wide and she stared at Quinton with a hungry look. "Well, what do you think? I won't have to wear platforms to be taller than you anymore."
"What? What do you mean?" While Quinton was awestruck taking in River's new look, her posture shifted as she began to stand. Watching her body move was very different, every bit of her seemed to command attention, and when she was on her feet he could see why. It should have been obvious as he saw her form changing. As she had become larger, she had also become taller. As she stood in front of him in her morning bare feet, she was easily six inches taller than him! So much taller that he instinctively took a step back.
"See? Not that I'll stop wearing platforms." River stared down at Quinton as she reached for the hem of her shirt, pulling it over her head. She already knew she could have him whenever she wanted. However, she found being physically larger than him even more exciting than she imagined. Once her shirt was on the floor, she stepped forward, teasing at the strap of her black lace bra.
Quinton was even more in awe as her shirt came off, and not for the reason he expected. Her breasts, while impressive, were actually proportionally smaller on her larger frame. However, the definition across her abs and chest took him by surprise. In some ways, her body didn't look real. It looked like it had been chiseled out by the Greek Gods. He surmised that wasn't far from the truth. Afterall, navigating the meta-verse was as close to being a God as man had ever come. Before he finished the thought, he realized she'd backed him into a wall.

River made some space between them, watching the desire in his eyes. "You may not know me, Quinton, but I know you." She made a show of slowly peeling her shirt over her head and tossing it to the floor. In a heartbeat, Quinton's excitement was replaced with concern, "Ohh no, I don't think that's a good idea." Quinton had every intention of staying right here, and never using that device again. "It's too unpredictable. I have no idea what will change, or what will happen."
"Ohh?" River wasn't dismayed in the least. She was used to him resisting, at first. She always got what she wanted in the end. She looked around the room, and made for a bookshelf. She knew he wouldn't likely hide the device in plain sight, but she made a show of looking. "You don't have to use it. You just have to tell me how you did it."
She moved to his chair, sitting down and swiveling it to face him, before spreading her legs. "I could just get dressed and head home." She placed her hands at her knees, then slowly drew them in along her thighs. "That's not what you want, is it?"
After letting him watch her touch herself for a few moments more, River swiveled to the computer. With a few taps the password screen came up, a password she already knew. A few keystrokes later, she was looking at his desktop session. Her hands flew across the keys, reviewing his recent command history.
"Hey, what are you doing!?" Quinton rushed to her. It didn't feel right to forcibly stop her, so he reached in and turned off the monitor.
