Paris Fashion Week!

If you’re one with the wildest dreams and aspirations, fantasizing about France might have been a reminiscent memory of your childhood. Only if you lived under a rock would you not know the magnificent Eiffel Tower that stands tall and bright during the day, and sparkles brightly at night. While France houses this admirable world-famous building, it’s also the home to today’s world of fashion. In many childhoods around the world, there’s a common memory of playing dress up to express creativity and to share some laughter because of the fun! Fashion to many is a gateway to expressing one's feelings and embodying one’s identity. This is why a glamorous event is held twice a year in France’s capital Paris. The first event of 2023, lasted from February 27th to March 7th and hosted many of the biggest names in the Fashion industry. Although fashion is entertaining, it’s subjective. In this article, I’ll be ranking the top five looks from the runway. It’ll start from my opinion of what was best, to what wasn’t quite my taste. Feel free to participate!
The 1st designer: Alexander McQueen
This look from Alexander McQueen’s collection comes in first place in my opinion. From the jewelry, jean jacket, makeup, and to the boots, it just all fits together perfectly to create an enticing look. Not only that, but the model also embodies the design flawlessly. Although it's different, it's quite unique and attractive as it lures the spectators’ attention with its crisp yet flowing sentiment.

It’s all about the bling and sparkles for this second look. This amazing design is elegant and charismatic! The contrast between the bold black and the shimmery accessories, could captivate anyone’s attention.
The 2nd designer: Victoria Beckham
This look is literally stunning! The style and design of the outfit is different yet fascinating. The slick and bold of the outfit works with the model’s styled hairstyle. It all effectively comes together to make up a thrilling look!

Where to start with this look? The draping design of the dress with the embedded shape of a heart stands out and draws attention to the simple, yet fascinating piece. Some might have the opinion that the white tights the model is wearing are a bit off, and a bit random, but in my opinion, it is a fantastic addition that's different and unexpected.
The 3rd designer: Giambattista Valli
Stunning! That's it, the look is simply glamorous and eye-catching! The design, similar to that of a ball gown dress, is charming and amusing. The glasses as well stand as a bold statement of the piece! However, there is quite too much going on at once, the glasses, earrings and skirt all serve as statement pieces on their own, making the stunning piece a bit clumsy looking.

The 4th designer: Miu Miu

This look from Miu Miu encompasses a style of elegance and royalty. The luxurious jacket coupled with a simple skirt and shoes, compliments each other well. However, the piece is almost too simple and doesn’t have anything that stands out about it.
The 5th designer: Louis Vuitton
Pretty much everyone on the face of the planet has watched Squid Game as it was one of the top Netflix releases of 2021. The piece is embodied by a model who was a cast member of the show, and although it could be seen as unique and different; in my opinion, the boots and overall design of the look do not come together to create a collectively fascinating piece.

In general, the looks from the runway were captivating and entertaining! If one was looking to spend some joyful time with friends and family to simply share their opinions, Paris Fashion Week is a great event to watch!
