Meet the Editorial Team!

Hello! My name is Leslie Urena and this year, I’m the Editor-in-Chief of the Rambling Raider. In addition to being involved in the paper, I’m a part of Writers Club and the Recycling Club. In my free time, I love to read, write, and listen to music.  

I started writing for the Rambling Raider as sophomore and I'm incredibly excited to be the Editor-in-Chief this year. Being a part of the newspaper is special to me because it has taught me how to improve my writing, my time management skills, and how to be a part of something bigger than myself. I love the team and their commitment to the paper. The care everyone puts forth is evident behind every issue and I look forward to the year we have ahead of us!  

Adam Ludwig is an alumnus of North Rockland High School class of 1995.  He has been an English teacher for 21 years and the faculty advisor of The Rambling Raider for almost as long.

In addition to his passions for literature and journalism, Mr. Ludwig enjoys playing the double bass in The Rockland Symphony.  He also loves the outdoors and spends his free time hiking out on the trail.  He is married with two children, two dogs and lives in Nyack, NY.

Hello everyone! My name is Isobel Edmonds and I'm a Senior Editor for the Rambling Raider. I am a part of the girl's swim team at NR and in my free time I enjoy reading, crocheting, and spending time with my friends. I plan to study English literature in college and to someday go into publishing! 

This will be my second year working with the Rambling Raider, and I can't wait for another year of some amazing editions. I love the paper because it gives me the creative freedom to write about what I'd like while also helping me hone my writing skills. 

Hi! My name is Shannan Massillon and I'm a Junior Editor for The Rambling Raider. Something you should know about me is that outside of school, I love going to tennis practice, reading, and writing in my free time. I'm also a huge fan of Star Wars!

I can't always tell people what I'm writing about since it's private, but what I will always do is make sure that I give you all some of the best articles yet!

Hello! I’m Yamilet Chabla, and I’m a Junior Editor for The Rambling Raider. Apart from The Rambling Raider, I'm an officer for ASPIRA , a member of the Writing Club, the Leadership Council, and Voice Club. I'm also a member for the Teen Leadership program of Rockland! In my free time I enjoy listening to music, going on walks, running, reading, baking, and binging shows on Netflix.

I enjoy being part of The Rambling Raider because it has helped improve my writing and my exploration of my writing skills. I can now bring light to issues and talk about things I enjoy confidently. I’ve learnt so much on how to improve my writing through having a group of editors who are always willing to make every newspaper issue count and be the best it can be!
