Consent and identification of candidate is verified upon arrival to appointment at front reception at which point a photocopy of current photo ID is obtained. Candidate photo ID is also required to be verified by personnel performing Pre-employment Medical.
All Pre-employment Medicals are to be completed in accordance with documentation provided by Employers and/or Goldfields Physio and/or Knight Health.
All Pre-employment Medicals are performed by a Registered Nurse, Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist. Goldfields Physio personnel must have current CPR certification.
Personnel performing audiometry, spirometry and drugs of abuse testing must have relevant qualifications, i.e. have completed a course in Spirometry deeming competence and be a WorkCover WA Approved Audiometric Officer.
All musculoskeletal assessments and Functional Capacity Evaluations are performed by a Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist or Exercise Scientist.
Completed Pre-employment Medicals are to be given to Reception staff (Kira Landers, Jasmine Seifert, Jenny Stringer) for submission to the Occupational Health Physician at Knight Health for review and sign off.
