There is one phone which turns all the phones in the clinic on and off night switch
This phone is located on the far-left bench in the staff room
On the phone’s display screen there is a list of menu options and call key’s
On the left of the screen is the option “Night Rng” – the button next to this will be lit up red
Press this button- a tone will sound notify you that the phone has been turned off night mode
Voice messages are sent to the reception email
When in the inbox there will be the words “Focused” and “Other”, these are the filtered inbox files
Select the “Other” file
This is where the voice messages will be
The voice message will show the number of the person who is calling in the subject line and there will be an attachment, this attachment is the recorded message
Click on the attachment and listen to the voice mail
Take appropriate action in relation to the message – this could be calling back if they need to schedule an appointment or cancelling an appointment if they are unable to attend
If you cannot hear the message properly there is a set of headphones located next to the photocopier – they will need to be connected to the tower of the computer into one of the USB ports
Once you have completely finished dealing with the voice mail delete the email from the inbox
SMS messages are located in the Nookal Diary – Bottom Centre of the screen
If there is a red dot on the “text message” icon, select the icon and any SMS messages will be shown
Select the SMS to read the full message
To respond select the “Send Message” Button on the bottom right hand of the screen
Type your desired message and press the “Send” button when the message is complete
§ Note: We are charged for each SMS we send so keep the message as short as possible
Once the message has been sent select the “Discard” button on the bottom right hand of the screen
