INCOMING
Correspondence marked confidential, personal or private should be placed on the desk of the person for whom it is intended.
All other correspondence should be opened by an authorized person, dated when received, sighted by the practice manager and appropriately scanned and filed.
OUTGOING
All outgoing correspondence should be scanned by the administration staff, dated and appropriately uploaded/filed.
INCOMING
Email correspondence (i.e. requests for information, reports, referrals, etc.) related to clients/patients should be immediately uploaded onto Nookal and then forwarded to the appropriate member of staff to address.
OUTGOING
All outgoing email correspondence should be uploaded to Nookal. Therapeutic staff can bcc. a copy to the reception email to facilitate accurate retention of communication.
