Braces and Equipment

• Braces and aids/equipment are generally not kept in stock. We carry a small range of frequently used stock items which you can supply to your patients at the listed cost.
• If a client requires a brace or piece of equipment which we do not have in stock please ensure you have selected the appropriate brace or piece of equipment from our stock catalogue.
• Measure for the brace as noted catalogue.
• WorkCover patients require a referral. Please refer to Request in WorkCover section. Also if the piece of equipment (e.g. stationary bike) or brace (i.e. carbon fiber wrist brace) is expensive pre-authorization may be required from the insurer.
• Private / EPC patients may be required to place a $50.00 deposit on the item prior to order being placed.
• DVA patients can have braces ordered from Red Cross. Please refer to Red Cross catalogue. Equipment requests must be approved by DVA. Contact office manager for order procedures.

Standard Stock / Stationary

• Reception will maintain the appropriate levels of stationary and standard stock such as theratubing, tubigrip, acupuncture needles, lotions, etc.
• If you require stock on an ongoing basis which we do not normally carry, please direct your request and rationale for carrying the stock to the physiotherapy manager and/or clinic director. Reasonable requests will be approved.
