OHS Compliance

Therapists are required to perform a general hygiene check prior to and following acupuncture or dry needling sessions and indicate compliance to all the above noted procedures. They are to fill out and sign the audit sheet posted inside each door to confirm compliance.

Failure to comply with the guidelines, standards and protocols outlined in this document will be considered a serious breach of professional standards and will result in immediate corrective action(s) and consequences which may include (dependent on investigation):

• Counseling and training on safety procedures
• Supervised practice
• Suspension of needling privileges
• Monetary fines
• Written warnings
• Dismissal
