§ If the client asks to make an appointment (NO information as to what information they require). Get clarification as to what appointment they are after eg. Physio, exercise physiology or a pre-employment medical booking.
§ Clients who have been here before- double check you are booking the correct person- want to confirm DOB before continuing with the booking
Physio appointments
§ Ask the are already seeing a physio, and if the injury is the same or if its something new.
§ New appointments require 40 mins
§ Follow ups are 20 mins unless the physio has stated 40 mins specifically OR they haven’t been in for a while
EP appointments (same applies as physio asking if it is a new area or current)
§ Appointments can be 40 or 60 mins unless stated otherwise by therapists.
§ 40 mins for new clients in clinic.
§ These can be in clinic or offsite at one of the gyms. IF OFFSITE try and block the same place back-to-back. Make sure a travel is placed before the appointment.
Pre-Employment bookings (ask the components that are required)

§ PEM, Audio (might be Workcover) need to check, Spiro, M+F, LAB DAS
§ Generally a Medical side (PEM, audio, Spiro) needs 1 hour can be done with our nurses
§ Generally the M+F can be completed in 40 mins
**this depends on the paperwork and that is a standard Medical and M+F**
Some paperwork can require more time such as Goldfields paperwork or Functional assessments.
§ Company that the M+F are longer- KCGM- 60 mins, Goldfields Surface 80 mins, Goldfields Surface mobile 60 mins, Goldfields Underground 100mins
§ Saltbush will note if Comprehensive or ST Ives equivalent (this is 60 mins)
Select the appointment of the patient you are rebooking
A client details screen will appear
Hover over the “Appointment” option of the tool bar
A drop-down menu will appear
Select “rebook appointment”
Find a day and time that suits the patient and that is available on the therapist’s schedule
Double check that the appointment you have just rebooked is the correct appointment type (ie if you are rebooking from an initial appointment you will need to change to a subsequence appointment)
