Following approval the requesting physiotherapist is then responsible for:
- Establishing start date of program (48hrs minimum)
- Emailing reception / office managers of impending start date and facility
- Set up an auto-reminder in Outlook at 4 weeks (except in the case of a 1-month membership) and 2 weeks prior to membership expiry to reassess status and action appropriately.
- Book all visits associated with the request including facility visits, reassessments and final assessments.
Reception / office staff will be responsible for:
- Communicating with facility to establish membership
At initial supervised session and subsequent appointments it is a requirement that the following takes place:
- Client is shown how to use and operate equipment
- Exercises are to be provided to the client advising of exercises, sets, repetitions or time as applicable.
- Clinical notes are updated with complete SOATAP format and MUST include an accurate description of the exercises prescribed or advice provided (i.e biceps curls 5kg dumbbell, 3 x 10; cues provided on adopting neutral spine and avoiding breath holding for abdominal plank, 3 x max.) This must include a review of current status
