It is essential that you have a solid rebooking strategy when it comes to interacting with your client. We want everyone who comes through our door to feel valued and get the most out their interaction with our team.
By in large I would suggest that you aim for 4 sessions within the first 2 weeks. There are important reasons behind this:
- optimise the chance of changing your client's behaviour in relationship to their injury / symptoms
- ensure understanding and comprehension related to their injury and their treatment journey, including the technical stuff like pain science and best-evidence
- helps minimise mis-interpretation and loss of information which could result in a barrier to the best outcomes
- helps develop rapport and trust, which can prevent people being swayed by others or the internet towards potential treatments which may not result in the best outcome for them
- let's you help to link their "why" into their treatment
