Whilst it is inevitable that employees may have, from time to time, the need to receive / make telephone calls during working hours, we ask they be kept to a minimum, of an important nature and as brief as possible, thank you.
Telephones at front desk are not to be used for personal calls. Incoming private calls are discouraged; however messages may be taken and if staff are available they may take the call away from the front desk.
Emergency calls are of course to be treated with priority.
Mobiles are to be turned off or placed on silent when at the front desk. No mobiles are to be taken into treatment rooms but can be left on low volume in staff room. Do not interrupt patient care to take mobile calls.
Note: Safety Awareness!
Staff working late shift may call home prior to leaving premises – this reassures your family regarding time you are expected home.
