FPES Woolworth Recovery Medi-Support

Woolworth provides internal management of their workers. This is done through the Physio Recovery Program. Under this program workers are entitled to 4 physiotherapy sessions. Following each session a report is to be made on https://www.medi-support.com.au

REPORTING

Once you have logged in, select the worker to be reported on. The report will ask you:

• return to work capacity
• anticipated recovery period
• diagnosis
• date of injury
• injury mechanism
• pain scale
• functional scale
• capacity evaluations:
  • Lifting from ground to waist
  • Lifting / carrying at waist height
  • Lifting chest and above shoulder
  • Pushing / Pulling
  • Standing
  • Walking
  • Climbing
  • Sitting
  • Bending
  • Twisting
  • Squatting
  • Use Of Left Arm Above Shoulder
  • Use Of Left Arm Below Shoulder
  • Use Of Right Arm Above Shoulder
  • Use Of Right Arm Below Shoulder

Additional sessions can be recommend as well as other recommended actions.

CONSUMABLES

As you are aware all consumables must be approved (via FPES 1300653239) or entered prior to providing to the patient. There will now be a ‘Consumables’ dropdown box within the report. The Physio will select an item from the pre-approved consumables list and simply enter the price. The list of pre-approved items are:

• Theraband
• Strapping/Taping
• Anti-inflammatory cream
• Elbow Brace
• Wrist Brace
• Ankle Brace
• Knee Brace
• Crutches
• Cam Boot

ADVICE TO CLIENTS

Avoid recommending time off as alternate duties are able to be accommodated.
