Notice of Termination

Modern Awards:

Required notice given by employer and employees will be based on the Modern Award Health Services and Support Services Award (MA000027). Payment in lieu of notice can be made by the employer and an earlier finish may be available subject to agreement.

Contractual Agreements:

Employees hired under contractual agreements are liable for the entire length of their contract. Employees may seek severance of their contractual agreement with the Clinic Director.

Summary Dismissal

The above period of notice shall not apply where the conduct of the employee justifies summary dismissal for serious or wilful misconduct.

Termination Pay-out

Payment is due on the days of termination with any annual leave owing and copies of any superannuation on file.
