Portrait Transformation.

1) In this photo I blended a portrait of Ben with a landscape shot taken in Acadia. 2) to start out the Process I brought all my pictures onto one page in PS. The next thing I did was to select all the space around Ben and delete it. this left me with Ben's face on a black background. I then reoriented Ben so that the angle of his face matched those in the background image. lowering the opacity I arranged Ben over top of the image and blended the edges of his face into the background. 3) The reason why I rotated Ben's head was to create more space in the image, his eyesight leads you through the photo. 4) one struggle I had was orienting Ben's head, when I turned it sideways the was a portion that was no longer black. I solved this problem by creating a blank layer and making it black. I then conjoined the two layers and the issue was solved. My favorite part of this photo is then expression of Ben and the background, together they create a dreamy vibe. Over all my project was a success. in the future I would try to get a picture of Ben that I wouldn't have t reorient.
