SI 14, loading dock jam

Idea: for this project i wanted to create two differing atmospheres in the same scene. Apart from using a line to seperate the two I Would used differing colors and line intensities. One side would be Dark and grimy nitetime look and the other a warm afternoon feel.

Materials: For this project I used a combination of Prismacolor markers and pencils.

Process: I started by creating sketches of my photograph to make the angles and viewpoint more dramatic. I then found a line that broke up the piece in a pleasing way leaving equal amounts on each side. Next, I added in the colors overtop the sketch keepin dark grimy ones on the left and warm lite ones on right. I also focused on keeping angles and lines more dramatic and dark on the left to add to the dramatic nite life look.
