Happy frogs

For this project I made a frog shaped water carrying jug based on an ancient brazilian one. I used the coil technique. I started with a slab in the shape of the base of the frog then built up walls. I then brought the tip and smoothed all my coils out into one roundish oval. following that, I pressed and pushed the oval into the shape of the frogs and added coils on for the legs of the frogs. I also added sphiers for they eye's. For the spout I made a coil in the shape of the spout, cut in half, cored it out then put it back together and attached it. For glaze, I used a spoty greenish color for a frog skin look. I am happy with my frog water jug but it will most likely be more of a skulpture.
