usa tuck tuck, marker n' white out, 3 X 5 7/16

for both these pieces I used pencil marker and white out. I started with a pencil sketch. I would then erase that and use the ghost to add marker to the most important lines that I wanted to keep. Next I added the red n' blue bits. Finally I had to do some experimenting, the white out I was using was a little finicky. I thought I could use a stencil but that wasn't any good so I just ended up freehanding. The irregular placement and size makes the flags look like they were hand painted onto the vehicles. My biggest transformation was adding a second vehicle (the tuck tuck) to the series.

I used a simple color pallet to create contrast and emphasis. I only used one thickness line to create unity and a sense of balance throughout the vehicles.

van: The van too me looks like a hippie turned blm protester took to the streets in style with some sweet new custom paint. tuck tuck: The tuck tuck to me talks about how the main tuck tuck company in india is moving to the us. My project relates to my life because I think tuck tuck and vans look really cool. The blm van relates to me on a deeper level because I have also been to some blm protests seen people vehicles decked out for protest. In my work I'm proudest of the scrappy little details I added to the vehicles to get a uses look.
