Final Summary Portfolio Reflection

1) Many aspects of my photography show improvement. One thing stands out to me in particular, I have started to use more compositional techniques. almost all of my photos have framing and or, the rule of thirds. 2) One thing I struggled with or found challenging was sticking to what I was supposed to be photographing. This was especially a problem with fim as I had a limited number of pictures I could take. By the end of the class I found it was easier to stick to shooting one thing if I did it all in one sitting. This is another thing I improved on.

3) I am proud of all the work I created in this class. However, the blending and clone stamp project really stood out to me. It was a combination of two of my favorite photos plus some of the coolest editing techniques we covered in my opinion. I found It was key to start out with cool images and then add good editing on top of of that for an excellent outcome.

4) On a Broader spectrum I think it shows that I am a visual learner, the photography comes to me more naturally and the writing aspect of the class was a challenge. However, I can see the merit of assessing your own work. It makes your flaws more obvious to yourself. I then can correct my mistakes. I think this class shows that I have an open mind when it comes to learning new techniques in photography. What your learning at the moment may not seem to be relevant but it's guaranteed to resurface in your mind and improve your photographs in the long run.
