For this piece I used a black prismacolor alcohol based marker. I made lot of little sketches before I settled on this design. When I chose this design I used a ruler to make it symmetrical with straight lines. my project evolved from a variety of small sketches to this simple finished project.

I used shape to create balance. I also used only 2 colors to create high contrast.

Hear we have a falcon which is freeports mascot and inside the wings is the current year. I go to FHS so I relate to the mascot. I'm proudest of the wings overall shape in this graphic. I struggled with the numbers, there still a little lopsided but I like there style.
