Intro role

(1 for my first film role I was getting to know my camera and taking photographs of whatever struck my fancy. This is a photo of a hydrangea outside my grandmas house. (2 For this photograph I chose a simple centerral composition, I usually photos with simple compositions as opposed to more complex ones. I then made sure my light meter was reading correctly by adjusting my aperture and shutter speed. Then, I Focused my camera and took the photo. (3 As I said before I went for a simple composition. I also kept my F stop low so the background would be blurred out making the flower pop. (4 As a final product I like the photo quite a lot (especially for the first photo I've developed). My favorite part is the way the white petals stand out against the background. In the future I would use a filter to create more contrast.
