The objective of this project was to take photos using compositional rules and techniques.
I believe the finished product was a success. I took a photo with an example of almost every rule and technique. my favorite photo is the example of Low key lighting. this is because to me it tells a story. I took this photo at 4:30 am last friday(9-20-19). I had woken up for a big swell (big surf) coming in that day and I just had to put "RAD"on the window with my finger. For the edit of it I simply made the color and lighting a little less weird and over saturated (a result of pumping the iso). I did this by bringing down the highlights and desaturating the color. I also adding more contrast.
One thing I struggled with on this assignment was finding interesting subjects to shoot, I usually travel out of my yard to take photographs. I overcame this by looking at things with a different angle and walking around.
