SI 12, Mob

Idea: For this print I wanted to accentuate and simplify the dark grainy gritty feeling of my photograph.

Materials: for this project I used Black block printing ink, Blue red and gold sharpie paint markers, and a Personal photo

Process: after my first sketch I had to flip my image in photoshop so what I drew would be accurate to the original photograph when the block was printed. the natural texture from block printing suited the atmosphere I wanted to create from the photograph and adding the color to select subjects drew extra attention to them. The strong contrast of the print mimicked that of the photograph as well.
