Donate Life 2022

My idea was to create a warm and friendly feeling poster with a positive abstracted message. The abstracted message is to draw you mind away from the rather graphic idea of you organs being extracted. my message was to imagine your orgasn as completing somone else like a complemantary color works well with its other complementary color.

for materials I used watercolor and gouache and a Green Expo Marker. I used the Gouache to make the red less translucent and the green marker was for the heart.

I used warm soft colors for the majority of the poster to create a kind calming mood. I also kept the graphic simple because this makes it easier for people to relate to the poster and maybe see themselves donating organs themselves. I used green for the heart of the figure because green is the complementary color of red.
