For this project I chose to keep myself to line drawings so my line and layering technique would show through.
I made a graphite sketch. I liked the freestyle loose lines I went with, and how the pencils allowed them to blend cohesively.
My first sketch was simple line drawing. My favorite part was the House Higgins. I liked the simple strait on composition. I used line movement contrasted throughout the peace. I also worked with lots of soft and strong lines making for lots of visual texture to attract the viewers eye. Another detail I added was the clouds in the window, I believe these act to visually tie the piece together. Over all i'm really proud of how this turned out. I like how raw the simple line drawings are. With high contrast and movement oriented lines, they stand off the page.
