Earth Shuttles

surrounded by a steady

up and down prancing

dishing out more food

satisfying late night hungry digestions

so where is my stomach hiding?

somewhere between these Big Sur earth shuttles

relaxation has a mission,

trifling music some may call it,

that furthers a brief pause and jest

to drive another 45 jagged miles

just to order up another

and soon, the seeker will begin the next vast journey,

miles lending to more miles across this Great Floor

into these giant trees,

so profound but so cold-blooded,

without any regard for shelter,

or refuge
