Poem for 3 Graduating Seniors

To Brianna: I solemnly bequeath the majestic Alps, “yoo-hoo!”, may their heights uplift your already vibrant soul, and may your voice reach any available songbird’s ear or sweet mid-summer night’s dream…just remember always: “Love is all you need”…is all you need.

To Charlotte: I solemnly bequeath the profoundly gentle and gracefully grateful Seine River, Paris’s masterpiece to ART, the world’s hope, and may your delicate sensibility and genius visions, prolific songs, continue to light up nighttime’s early morning dew, the sweet gathering place for the doves of dawn… just remember always: “Wear your love like heaven”.

To Rosie: I solemnly bequeath Sister Light’s modest multicolored-further-visions, poetry the breath’s mint and jasmine flavors that taste chocolaty and creamy like the stature of a giant redwood, and the endurance of the Ocean of Winter, eternal… just remember always: “All that we see or seem is but a dream within a dream”.
