March 2009 interview with Mrs. Itsuko Tsujii This article was originally published in the 琉球新報沖縄の新聞 Okinawa News Ryukyu Shimbun on March 28, 2009, but was discovered by me after an article showed up on the Japanese site http://matome.naver.jp/ on November 7, 2012. It is of special significance because it dates from before Nobu's Van Cliburn competition triumph. The article mentions the cause of Nobu's blindness and the education that he received as he grew up.
