2013/14 Japan Tour

On the same day of Nobu's 2013 BBC Proms Debut, the Nobuyuki Tsujii's official site posted an announcement of his 2013/14 Japan tour.
eplus tickets announcement Avex Classics Tour page The tour includes 19 performances, at 16 cities (3 performances in different venues in Tokyo). Nobu will make stops in some remote parts of Japan seldom visited by major performers, such as 大分 Ōita, 佐賀 Saga, 新潟 Niigat, 鳥取市 Tottori

There are 19 stops on this tour, starting on November 27 in Tokyo and ending on March 28 in Tokyo. The recital program is very ambitious. Seven of the 10 works on the program are performed by Nobu in public for the first time - details here

「葬送行進曲」で有名なショパンのピアノ・ソナタ第2番をコンサートで弾くことは、
僕の夢のひとつでした。
また、リストの作品をこれだけまとめて弾くのも初めてです。
難曲も多く、ピアニストとして非常に挑戦し甲斐のあるプログラムです。
皆様と一緒に、感動と興奮にあふれた演奏会にしたいと願っています。

To perform in concert Chopin's famous Piano Sonata No. 2 "Funeral March" has been one of my dreams.
In addition, playing some of the works of Liszt is also a first.
There are many difficult pieces; this is a program that is very challenging to a pianist.
I hope, along with everybody, that this concert will be full of excitement and emotion.
