Q: Why isn't Nobu coming to perform in my part of the world?
As a classical pianist, Nobu doesn't just choose to come to perform at some venue. He has to be invited to perform. Although his fame is rising rapidly, Nobu is still relatively unknown in the classical music realm outside of Japan, America and some parts of Europe. If you are serious about wanting to see Nobu perform in your part of the world, please consider contacting people who organize your local classical music concerts, and suggest that they invite Nobu - mentioning how impressive he is, citing this site, if you like :-)
I did that with a contact in Seattle, Washington. And I have reason to believe that my suggestion led to his being invited to perform in that city in January 2013.
Q: Where can I get sheet music for the original compositions of Nobuyuki Tsujii
In 2011, soon after the release of the CD "Nobuyuki Tsujii Works, 2000-2011" of Nobu's original compositions, a number of score books of his compositions were published in Japan, now available on http://amazon.co.jp and other Japan sites.
Photo: At a reception after a recital in Carmel, California on Oct. 9, 2011, a fan (me!) showed Nobuyuki her copy of the score book of his own compositions, freshly released in August in Japan and purchased in Japan.
As of 2017, the book is now available worldwide! See here => Sheet music for Nobuyuki Tsujii's Original Compositions
