Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto 2   - Nobuyuki Tsujii made this recording in 2008 with conductor Yutaka Sado, who has been a close friend and perhaps mentor since Nobuyuki's junior high days.  This performance was recorded with the Deutsches Symphonie, which is still listed as the principal on iTunes, perhaps because Nobuyuki  and Sado were considered unknowns.Get it at a decent price (<$20) on ebay, through a Korean distributor. Nobuyuki Tsujii, Gold Medalist,2009 - Winners CD

Chopin: Etudes, op.10, Nos. 1-6, Beethoven: Sonata in B-flat major, op.106 Hammerklavier. Liszt: Paganini Etude No.3 La Campanella; John Musto: Improvisation and Fugue.

The "La Campanella" alone is worth the money - the brilliance of this performance will brighten your darkest days. And the more I listen to the Hammerklavier, the more I like it. What a feat for Nobuyuki to perform this hour-long piece flawlessly and so beautifully at the Cliburn.

This CD, issued by Hamonia Mundi, reportedly has sold more than 100,000 copies as of 2010 -- a phenomenon in classical music sales
