♪ November 27 Nobu tracks played on Ireland radio
In my daily news search, I have seen Nobuyuki Tsujii tracks listed on Ireland radio's "Lorcan Marray's Classic Drive" program from time to time, most recently today https://www.rte.ie/lyricfm/lorcan-murrays-classic-drive/.
Too bad it seems the tracks are always from an old CD (of the Cliburn Competition).
I tweetedMr. Marray to mention Nobu's many new CDs (which are probably not readily available to the radio station).
But it's heartening to know that Nobu's piano is heard on the lovely Emerald Isle.
Perhaps he will get to play there someday.

"Unfortunately we have to inform you that, due to a shoulder fracture, Nelson Freire has cancelled his concert on December 15th at the Royal Concertgebouw Amsterdam.
Despite this disappointing message we are most happy to announce very good news at the same time: Nobuyuki Tsujii will replace him. We are very grateful to Mr. Tsujii that he is willing to take over on such short notice and we hope that you share our gratitude..."
My best wishes to Mr. Freire for speedy recovery and to Nobu for great success.

♪ Nov 24 2014 La Scala debut -- why hasn't Nobu returned to Italy?
This old Facebook post by the Filarmonica della Scala resurfaced today when I did my news search. It comes with an image of an interview of Nobuyuki Tsujii before his 2014 debut at Italy's famed La Scala, with Mo. Valery Gergiev, performing Prokofiev's Piano Concerto no. 3, no less! The performance was a great success!

Nobu has not played in Italy since 2015, for some reason. Nor has he performed Prokofiev's 3. Both need to change.e !

I don't understand a word of it, but Nobu -- dressed in black long-sleeve shirt and his longish hair combed -- looks good in it.

皇居前広場で9日午後、天皇陛下の即位を祝う国民の祭典が開かれました。
この日のために作られた奉祝曲「組曲 Ray of Water」が披露され、ピアニスト・辻井伸行さんが演奏を披露しました。
会場には、招待客を含む約3万人が集まり、両陛下を祝福。47万人以上から観覧の申し込みがあったということです。

At the venue, about 30,000 people, including invited guests, gathered to celebrate their Majesty. More than 470,000 people had applied for viewing.

The stature of Nobuyuki Tsujii is such that he is featured in the celebration of the opening of new high-end concert halls.
The Takasaki City Theater concert with the Hamburg Phil on Nov 6 is one.
On Nov 16 Nobu will perform a sold-out All Chopin concert to commemorate the opening of the Fenice Sakai Concert Hall in Osaka.

Social media postings from Japan is abuzz with excitement about the upcoming enthronement celebration festival, to take place on November 9.
Nobu is slated to perform in an orchestral performance of a new composition by the team that gave us the hit piece "Flowers will bloom" (this will happen the day after Nobu's Japan tour with Kent Nagano & the Hamburg Phil. )
A twitter just posted that the festival performances, including Nobu's part, is scheduled for live broadcast on NHK General TV on November 9 6:05 - 6:45pm
