Nobuyuki Tsujii in Europe, May 2012

May 14: "Nobu's concert in Basel was a big success. The audience was amazed by brilliant and unbelievably touching Prokofiev followed by an encore of Nobu's own piece commemorating last year's earthquake disaster in japan. Long lasting applause and lots of tears from over a thousand people in the audience." - comment posted on Facebook by Andreas  B. of Basel - many, many thanks!  Read a very positive review as well as Nobu's own report here - with English translation Nobuyuki Tsujii in Basel, May 2012

In March of 2012, Nobuyuki Tsujii had a successful two-weeks tour in Europe , where he performed Chopin's piano concerto no 1 with the BBC Philharmonic and Yutaka Sado, and recitals in Germany  - see Nobuyuki Tsujii in Europe, Spring 2012 (photos below)

In May, he returned to Europe.  This time, he performed concertos in Switzerland, Poland, and England.  I knew in advance that the itinerary would be exciting, as he was to perform the very challenging Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 3 for the first time, twice, and with well respected conductors that include Masestro Vladirmir Ashkenazy and orchestras such as the Philharmonia (see table of schedule below.)
