Calligraphy

The word below, written in kanji, is manjushake (red spider lily) for those who want to practice their calligraphy.

The other Japanese word for red spider lily, higanbana, is written with different kanji.

Here is a relatively simple sketch of red spider lilies for practice.

Demonstration Painting

You are the florist today. Arrange your flowers in any way you want in your favorite vase. I accompanied my red spider lilies with pampas grass, but you can choose whatever accompaniment you want, or none at all if you wish.
