The kanji below is the word for ginkgo tree for those who want to practice their calligraphy. Note that the Japanese have three pronunciations for these kanji, all of which mean ginkgo tree; ginkō, ginkyō and ichō. Ichō tends to be the most used. The Wikipedia article on ginkgo trees cites only one Japanese pronunciation: ginkyō. Japanese dictionaries are more complete and more authoritative.
Sketches
Here are a pair of sketches of ginkgo tree leaves for practice. Both were done using the kōrokutensai-hō technique. That technique uses a combination of senbyō-hō (lines) and mōkkōtsu-hō (boneless or without lines). It doesn't matter which is done first.
