The Japanese words this week are katabami to hiyoko (oxalis and chick), a phrase written in hiragana, one of Japan's phonetic syllabaries, for those who want to practice their calligraphy. It should be written starting at the top of the right-hand column.
There are two relatively simple sketches this week for practice. The first is of chicks.
The next sketches are of oxalis.
