The relatively simple waterfall sketch below is for practice
Painting waterfalls successfully requires painting the surrounding landscape, too. While a complex, detailed landscape can yield impressive results, it can also be challenging. It is best to start with something relative simple before moving on to more complex scenes. In my painting below, I inadvertently put too many vertical lines in the waterfall, and some were too heavy.
