Narcissus (suisen) Sketch

The painting below is a sketch of a narcissus using only senbyō-hō strokes. It is a good composition to practice on. Note the kanji characters in the lower right-hand corner. Those wanting to practice their calligraphy might see what they can do with it.

The following sketches from the web help to illustrate the ovaries of the narcissus and their attachment to stems. The ovaries are the slight swellings at the bend below the blossoms.
