Calligraphy, Sketches & Demonstration Painting

Here is hiyashinsu (hyacinth) using the phonetic katakana syllabary for those who want to practice their calligraphy.

Valentine's Day is coming next week, so in honor of that, the kanji word below is ai (love).

There are two relatively simple sketches of hyacinths for practice. Here is the first one.

Demonstration Painting

Nearly the entire painting is rendered with mokkutsu strokes. There are dot strokes, too.
