Calligraphy, Sketches and Demonstration Painting

Calligraphy

There are two Japanese words this week for those who want to practice their calligraphy. The first is azaria (azalea) using the katakana phonetic syllabary.

The next is tsutsuji using the hiragana phonetic syllabary for Japan's native azalea, Rhododendron indicum.

Sketches

There are two relatively simple azalea sketches for practice. The first is a simple black and white sketch.

The second sketch is similar, but I added color at the end.
