These relatively simple sketches are for practice. The first is of the passion fruit blossom and fruit.
This is a sketch of passion fruit leaves and buds.
In my painting guidance below, I use the term warifude in step 4. What that means is that you should spread the bristles of the brush apart so that strokes will have that streaked appearance in the corona of the blossom. It helps to use a brush with relatively stiff bristles. I also use many technical botanical terms in the guidance. Refer to the anatomy illustration in unit 12.1 for the meanings.
